Arrow Wrecker Receives Good Neighbor Award

This second annual Good Neighbor Awards Banquet was held October 23, 2008 at the Petroleum Club in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Featured Presenter was Pelco Products, Inc. The festivities started at 6:30 pm with a cash bar and Art Exhibit, featuring pieces from the Our Town Exhibit at City Arts. 7:00 pm, Rocky Williams, Neighborhood Alliance Board President, welcomed the participants. Terri Watkins, Master of Ceremonies, made the opening remarks after which Clint Stone, City Arts, presented their exhibit pieces. At 7:10 everyone adjourned to the dining room, and enjoyed a meal featuring South West Salad, Backed Chicken with Cream Cheese, Spinach and Sun-Dried Tomato & Cilantro. This main dish was accompanied by Petro Potato & Green Beans, followed by an outrageously delicious Chocolate Pyramid with Fresh Berries & Chocolate Sauce.

The Special Awards were presented by Councilman Sam Bowman and Rocky Williams, Board President. Arrow Wrecker Service was presented the Best Corporate Neighbor Award by Zia Muneer, Board Member. The award recognized Arrow Wrecker Service’s extraordinary Demonstration of care & concern for neighborhood and community.

“We had a great number of nominees for this year’s awards. We heard wonderful stories of resilience and accomplishment. We appreciate the dedication of these individuals who are working tirelessly to improve our community!” was an insert in their awards banquet bulletin.

Arrow Wrecker OSHA Recognition

Arrow has again received their recognition for occupational safety and health through the US Dept of Labor’s Occupational Safety & Health’s Achievement Recognition Program.

We participate in this program and have received their certificate of approval for the year 2009. (We also received this recognition in 2008.)

We’ve been chosen again for the American Towman Ace Award, awarded by American Towman Magazine and co-sponsored by Allstate Motor Club, Asurion, Coach-Net, Cross Country Automotive Services, American Towing Alliance, and GEICO.

This award puts us in the top 1% of towing operations for service reliability and professionalism. The criteria for which we have been selected includes excellence in meeting your ETA’s expressed satisfaction, and overall professionalism. At their yearly ceremony in November ‘08, we received their commemorative 2008 ACE belt buckle.
