How to Retrieve Your Vehicle

Follow these steps at our office to complete your release and pick up your vehicle.

Confirm location & hours. Verify the vehicle is at our lot and note our release hours (see sidebar). Some police holds require a release first.

Bring required documents. Valid photo ID and proof of ownership/authorization (see details below). For rentals or lienholders, bring a letter of authorization.

Visit the office. We’ll verify documents, calculate towing & storage fees, and complete the release forms.

Pay fees. Pay any towing, storage, admin, and after-hours fees (if applicable). Receipts will be provided.

Pick up the vehicle. Our staff will escort you to the vehicle. Please bring a working key and a licensed, insured driver.
What to bring (documents)
  • Government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, state ID)
  • Proof of ownership (current registration, title, or insurance with name matching ID)
  • Authorization if the registered owner is not present:
    • Owner’s signed authorization + copy of owner’s ID
    • Rental company: company letter/authorization & rental agreement
    • Lienholder: letter of authorization on company letterhead
  • Police release if required (DUIs, accident investigations, or holds)
Fees & payments
  • Towing — based on vehicle class / distance
  • Daily storage — per calendar day after impound
  • Administrative / release — where applicable
  • After-hours gate — if released outside office hours

Who can pick up
  • Registered owner with ID and proof of ownership
  • Authorized agent with signed letter and copy of owner’s ID
  • Rental company / lienholder with authorization and agreement

A licensed, insured driver must operate the vehicle off the lot.

Police holds / releases
Some impounds require a law-enforcement release before pickup. Contact the originating agency for instructions. Bring that release along with your ID and ownership documents.
